Several people are receiving text or email messages that purport to come from Msgr. Kurwicki or Fr. Secrist. These messages are from scammers. Msgr. Kurwicki or Fr. Secrist will NEVER send you a text or email stating that he needs your assistance or gift cards. If you receive a text or email from Msgr. Kurwicki, Fr. Secrist or any priest and are unclear if it is from them, please call the Parish Office at (573) 636-8159 to confirm that the information is correct. NEVER respond to such texts or emails as this simply confirms to the scammer that they have reached a live person. It is best to just block the sender and delete the text or email.
